silver baby rattle - Italy
this is a silver 'oval shape' baby rattle embossed with a band of berries and leaves. It was made in Italy in the 1930', and is hallmarked with '800' (800/1000 silver) and the 'punzone del fascio' (maker 17 PD).
The rattle is 1 3/4 in. long (cm. 4,5), the ivory ring is 1 1/2 in. (cm. 4) and was bought from an Italian dealer at an Antique Fair.
