A SMALL COLLECTION OF ANTIQUE SILVER AND OBJECTS OF VERTU

briar wood and silver cigarette box - Italy

Italian silver cigarette box this briar wood cigarette case with silver lid and thumbpiece was made by an Italian silversmith in Florence.
The silver lid bears the "fascio" hallmark used in Italy between 1935/1940.
The box is 6 3/4 in. wide (cm. 17) and was bought from an Italian dealer at an Antique Fair.

This item is not for sale, but most of my pieces were bought through the Internet. On the right bar of this page there are some links to silver and antique dealers websites
