German antique silver punch ladle this is a silver punch ladle with turned wooden handle made in Frankfurt am Main(Germany) around 1830 by silversmith Johann Philipp Hoffmann (1794-after 1842), Master 1827 (ref. Schleffler, Hesse, Frankfurt aM #562, mark338: courtesy Charles C. Cage).
The purity degree of silver is 13 loth, corresponding to 812,5/1000.
This punch ladle is 10 in. long (cm. 25) and was bought from an English dealer through the Internet.
