silver stopper - Germany

Lutz & Weiss
silver stopper this cork and silver stopper was made by Lutz & Weiss - Pforzheim (Germany) at the beginning of 20th century.
It has a pivoting hinged lid opening with a counterpoised device and is hallmarked with half-moon and crown, '800' (800/1000 silver) and silversmith mark.
The silver stopper is 2 in. long (cm. 5) and was bought by an Italian dealer.

This item is not for sale, but most of my pieces were bought through the Internet. On the right bar of this page there are some links to silver and antique dealers websites
