Austrian antique silver sugar tongs these silver sugar tongs bears town mark of Prague (Austria), year 1837, purity degree 13 loth, silversmith 'FH'.
Their plain shape is vaguely inspired to the 'fire tongs type' which in England preceded tea tongs and sugar tongs.
The tongs are 6 1/4 in. long (cm. 16) and were bought by an UK dealer through the Internet.
