silver baby rattle - Italy

Italian antique silver baby rattle this is a silver baby rattle of 'Art Deco' taste made in Italy in the 'thirties'
It is made by six superimposed geometric elements of hexagonal shape and is engraved with the dedications '6-9-36' (September 9, 1936) and 'SERGIO'.
It is hallmarked with '800' (800/1000 silver) and a rubbed maker's mark.
The rattle is 2 1/4 in. long (cm. 6) and was bought from an Italian dealer at an Antique Fair.

This item is not for sale, but most of my pieces were bought through the Internet. On the right bar of this page there are some links to silver and antique dealers websites
