silver tea strainer - Russia
this is a silver tea strainer in the shape of a bucket with swinging handle and gilt interior, bottom
and bands on the body.
It was made in Russia by silversmith PJS active in St. Petersburgh between 1886-1908 (unidentidied master:
Postnikova-Loseva # 1827).
The tea strainer is 1 1/2 in. high (cm. 3,7) and was bought from an Italian dealer at an Antique market.
This item is not for sale, but most of my pieces were bought through the Internet.
