Continental silver salt cellar
this is a Continental silver salt cellar with hinged lid and decorative finial.
It has oval form with scalloped edge and stands on four scroll legs.
The salt cellar has scroll handle and his original fitted glass liner. It is marked 800 (purity degree
of silver used in Continental Europe) but I'm unable to locate its origin.
The salt cellar is 2 7/8 in. high (cm. 7) and was bought from an US dealer through the Internet.
This item is not for sale, but most of my pieces were bought through the Internet.
On the right bar of this page there are some links to silver and antique dealers websites
