Continental silver bougie-box (wax taper)

Continental silver bougie-box a particular form of taper holder is the bougie-box or wax taper. Here the coil is contained in a small drum shaped box.
This bougie-box is decorated with embossed floral decorations and a mythological scene with a cherub holding a torch.
Another cherub is pierced in the small handle.
The bougie-box is marked only with what looks to be the maker's name (not well readable). It is of Continental origin, possibly Germany 19th century.
It is 1 1/2 in. high (cm. 4) and was bought from an UK dealer through the Internet.
