Sharman D. Neill, Dublin silver mether cup - Ireland

Sharman D. Neill, Dublin antique silver mether cup or christening mug this little silver mether cup (or christening mug) standing on four buttress feet was made in London in 1904 by silversmith Spencer & Co.
It is similar in shape to another bowl in my collection, made in 1909 by Hamilton & Inches of Edinburgh but it has a fluted edge with remembrances of Art Nouveau style.
The mether cup is 2 1/8 in. high (cm. 5,2) and was bought from a UK dealer through the Internet.
