French antique silver sugar sifter this is a French silver sugar sifter with floral shape holes on the bowl and horn handle made at the beginning 19th century .
It has the maker's mark A.A.C with an imperial crown and a cup between the A and C, corresponding to Clérin Aiméé-Catherine (widow Lecour) and the stamp of the silversmiths organisation (a face of a Greek lady with the letter P) started in 1794 and found until the years 1838. This Greek lady face was stamped do to the desorganisation of the control of the silver in France after 1789 revolution.

Period she started work: February 12, 1807. She used three slightly different stamps over the period when she was active.
